Weekly Covid cases 6.5% up nationally, 37% in Delhi

Delhi registered a 37% rise in Covid cases in the week ending Sunday, breaking a three-week spell of declining infections, in a pattern of alternating rise and fall that is being seen in several other states during the current surge of the virus. CBSE Class 12 pass percentage, number of high scorers rise compared to 2019

The number of high scorers continues to rise in the CBSE Class XII Board exams, the results of which were released on Friday. Covid cases up 8th week running, longest sustained rise since 2nd wave

Covid-19 cases continued to inch up in the country for the eighth week running, with the weekly total just short of 1.3 lakh, up over 6% from the previous week. Although the numbers remain relatively low, this is the longest sustained rise in weekly cases in India since last year’s second wave.
