During Bangladesh's pursuit of 183, the fan got through the security cordon and ran onto the field to meet Rohit. Soon after the intrusion, the security hurled to the field and grabbed the fan. They then escorted him out of the park as the play resumed after the brief interruption. Earlier, Rishabh Pant reinforced his claim for a berth in India's playing 11 for the T20 World Cup as the first-choice wicketkeeper batter as he made a flowing fifty to guide his side to 182 for five against Bangladesh.
