Pawar praises Savarkar, says he had a 'scientific outlook'
NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday said Vinayak 'Veer' Savarkar had a "scientific outlook and was a progressive" and added the political controversy over Rahul Gandhi's comments on Savarkar was distracting people from other serious issues. Pawar added that in the past, he too had made certain comments about Savarakar, but they were specifically about the Hindu Mahasabha, of which Savarkar was a leader.
