India’s weekly Covid-19 cases up 41%, no rise in deaths
Covid-19 infections continued to inch up in India for the third week running but, crucially, there was no increase in deaths in the week ending Sunday. ED attaches Rs 757 crore assets of Amway
The Enforcement Directorate has accused Amway India Enterprises of running a multi-level marketing scam, while attaching its assets worth Rs 757 crore on Monday, including its factory in Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul district and bank balances of Rs 346 crore. The agency said its money trail against Amway revealed that the company had collected Rs 27,562 crore from its business operations from 2002-03 to 2021-22.

Mob attacks thana in K'taka over WhatsApp post

Terrorists shot sarpanch Manzoor Ahmad Bangroo dead in an orchard at Goush-bugh village of Pattan in Kashmir’s Baramulla district Friday evening.The attack on Bangroo, who won the panchayat elections as an independent, adds to a long list of 21 panchayat members killed before him since rural polls were held in J&K for the first time in decades in 2011. Single CBSE Board exam likely, curtailed syllabus to continue
Even as CBSE mulls over reverting to the pre-Covid Board exams format, the rationalised syllabus will continue even for the 2022-23 session.
