Mahendra Singh Dhoni was dismissed for the first time in IPL 2024 when he was run out on the last ball of the Chennai Super Kings innings against Punjab Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In the last couple of overs, Dhoni struck a six and a four before being run out on the final ball of the innings, finishing with 14 runs off 11 balls.
