Bilkis case: 'Convicts didn't tell SC that HC had junked similar pleas'

Rape survivor Bilkis Bano on Wednesday requested the Supreme Court for an open court hearing of her plea for review of the SC's May 13 judgment allowing Gujarat to consider the remission pleas of 11 lifers, guilty of gang-raping many and murdering 14 during the 2002 communal riots in the state. India saw very low number of Covid vax clotting cases: Govt

The Centre informed the Supreme Court that India had a very low incidence of Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI) cases of Thrombosis and Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) during administration of 220 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines. It said till September 30 this year India has administered 219.9 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine. A total 26 AEFI cases of TTS were reported, of which 14 recovered and 12 died.
